Wet Wet Wet

Taken in Versailles last June

I'm not sure what the weather is like back in London, but here at home the inescapable drizzle is making me pine for the sun-drenched days of last summer. I love the changes that each season is supposed to bring, be it crisp breezes, powdery snow, or the scattering of fiery red and amber leaves across the ground. But rain is frankly, in my eyes, the liquid form of a pain in the neck. The only mitigating factor is that it can, on the off chance, leave behind a glittering trace which can translate into brilliant photograph. Who knows, I might take my camera out for a spin if I can bring myself to face the conditions. But right now a few days of warm, honest sunshine wouldn't go amiss...

I've always wanted to visit Versailles...this photo is lovely! And you might hate the rain but California is suffering a long draught...I wish it would rain here :)
